EMV After Hours with Vintage Ruse – Tue., June 13, 5:30-7pm
For more than a decade, Jules Mercer made a lasting impact on hundreds of children at her Destination Art in North Beach. Years later, she has moved her Vintage Ruse vintage clothing, furniture and clothing store to a 6,000-square foot space at Almonte Blvd. & Shoreline Hwy. The multi-faceted space will host events, live music, self-help groups, movie screenings, open mic nights, trivia nights and much more. The upstairs area will be home to classes, workshops and more. 256 Shoreline Hwy., 5:30-7:30pm. |
All-County EMV After Hours at Mill Valley Lumber Yard – July 20, 5:30-7:30pm
The MV Lumber Yard has long been a vital hub for a little bit of everything in the 94941, and we're ready to share the excitement with all of Marin County. MVLY is hosting the annual All-County Mixer in July, opening up their gorgeous space to members from all of the Chamber in Marin. EMV After Hours at City Hall/MV Fire Station – Sept. 12, 5:30-7:30pm
Six years ago, we gathered with members, friends and City personnel, all to hail our amazing first responders and raise money for Marin Professional Firefighters in the aftermath of the horrific North Bay Fires. As always , we learned a lot about needed preventative measures. Though the historic rainfall has reduced fire danger, it's time we gather again to prepare, innovate and support one another to keep our community safe. 5:30-7:30pm. |
MVMF Preview @ EMV After Hours – April 18, WrapManager/Assembly
Gabe Burczyk has been a force of nature behind the Mill Valley Music Fest. In advance of MVMF on May 13-14, it's only right that Gabe and the Chamber are hosting a teaser/preview of the amazing food, drink, art, activities and experiences and much more at MVMD at Gabe's place. We'll talk about our journey, play some music from the bands performing at MVMF and give you a taste of what's to come. 319 Miller Ave., 5:30-7pm. |

Mill Valley Rotary members are making a difference both locally and globally. EMV After Hours with MCE Marin Clean Energy – Mill Valley Community Center – Feb. 15, 5:30-7pm
Birthed from the Marin Energy Authority’s hard-fought launch of Marin Clean Energy in May 2010, MCE is a not-for-profit public agency that has set the standard for clean energy in our communities. EMV After Hours at The Warehouse – June 14, 5:30-7pm
Few have done serial entrepreneurship like Karen Goldberg, who has created myriad local brick-and-mortar businesses over the years. Her latest is The Warehouse, a consignment exchange that buys and sells gently used & unique furniture, art, and homewares at warehouse prices. The Warehouse will host our June 14th After Hours in its backyard, and Goldberg's renowned TamalPie restaurant will curate the nibbles.
