• Free listing and website link on the Mill Valley Chamber website: Members receive a free listing in their business category on the website offering significant opportunity for on-line business referrals.

• Referrals: Member business cards and/or marketing materials are kept at the Chamber office. Public and member business inquiries are referred to Chamber members only. Member business event information can also be posted in the community bulletin board located outside the Chamber office.

• Website sponsorship and advertising opportunities are available for increased visibility and marketing purposes.

• Monthly Mixers: Chamber mixers provide excellent opportunities for business-to-business networking. New members are introduced each month. Members may host a mixer and/or promote their products or services with a donation for a mixer door prize.

• Event Calendar: Business and community-focused events are posted to the chamber website for easy access to members and the community at large. The Chamber also issues email notifications of significant events to mailing list recipients.

• Outstanding Events: The Chamber produces a series of compelling business oriented events throughout the year including the Annual Awards Celebration Dinner, The Marin Green Business Forum, The Mill Valley Wine and Gourmet Food Tasting and the Business and ECOnomics Expo, providing unique opportunities to network with local business associates and prospective clients and promote your products and services.

• Advocacy: The Chamber actively promotes the interests of local businesses to City, County and State government and supports pro-business initiatives, candidates and ballot measures. The City Council appoints a non-voting member of the Chamber Board of Directors ensuring close alignment between the Mill Valley business community and city government.

• Event Promotion: Publicize and promote special business events such as business openings, sales, guest appearances, etc. via email to the Chamber mailing list. 

• Ribbon cutting ceremonies: The Chamber will help promote the grand opening of member businesses and will include information and a photo (space available) in Chamber publications.
   
• New member packets: New members receive a packet that includes an overview of Chamber information and “special offers” from other Chamber members. Businesses which offer discounts for Chamber members can supply a brochure or flyer for new members to increase business visibility. The Chamber has an active SHOP LOCAL campaign.

• Mill Valley business community leadership: The Chamber Board of Directors and each Chamber committee is staffed exclusively by members, providing opportunities to influence Chamber scope and direction. The Chamber welcomes those who are willing to lend their skills, passion and enthusiasm to Chamber growth and development.
