Wings of Song, SingersMarin’s adult women’s chorus, a community chorus with professional standards, is welcoming new members for the spring concert season. Rehearsals begin Tuesday evening, Jan. 24 or Wednesday morning, Jan. 25 and are held in Tiburon. A pot-luck welcoming new members will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 17 at a members home.

142 Throckmorton Theatre, a nonprofit theatre dedicated to supporting the arts, proudly announces the establishment of the Blanche Thebom Fund for Advanced Vocal Musicianship. Ms. Blanche passed away in May of 2010 and her estate has made a financial gift to the theatre to be used to develop and support emerging vocal talent through 142 Throckmorton’s Marin Youth Performers’ advanced vocal music programs - musical theatre productions and teen A Cappella Ensemble. www.142throckmortontheatre.org/marin_youth.php
