Employee Parking Permits
The Mill Valley Chamber issues Employee Parking Permits in partnership with the City of Mill Valley. Business and organization leaders and their employees can avoid getting tickets, moving their cars, or feeding their meters by parking in one of more than 110 designated employee parking spaces downtown and on Miller Avenue.

- Must be employed in Mill Valley
- California license plates on vehicle
- Proof of current California vehicle registration
- Completed application and payment
How it works
You can submit your Employee Parking Permit application online and then pay by check or cash when you pick up your permit in person at the Mill Valley Chamber office, 85 Throckmorton Ave. Office hours are Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 12-4 pm.
Permits are $66 for six months and they are pro-rated. The cost drops by $11 each month after the first month of the parking period. Parking periods are from October 1 to March 31 and April 1 to September 30. The cost is $55 in month two, $44 in month three, $33 in month four, $22 in month five and $11 in month six. We are unable to issue Employee Parking Permits for more than six months at a time. You must purchase a new permit each subsequent permit period.

IMPORTANT INFO FOR PERMIT HOLDERS
Permits are valid only in “E” designated parking locations, are non-transferable and assigned to one car per sticker.
All parking regulations apply and violations are the responsibility of each operator.
Please affix sticker visibly, inside lower, left-hand windshield.
Red Flag Warnings for Miller Ave.
- Spaces: Parking along the curbside in the outbound parkway portion of Miller Ave. – between Millwood and Willow (MV Lumber Yard to MV Music) – will be prohibited on all Red Flag days or other extreme weather conditions as determined by the Fire Chief.
- The Police Department will send appropriate notifications via cell to all Employee Parking permittees through Nixle and/or Alert Marin advising that vehicles must be removed from the curbside area.
- Any vehicle impeding access after a warning has been sent out will be towed immediately from the area.
